There are so many theories about Ben Hogan's golf swing that you'd love to have a dollar for every theory there has been. One of my favorite "facts" is that Hogan was double jointed or was some type of ape in form by his arm length and torso length.

The very best drivers of the golf ball - as a general rule- ALL created room on the takeaway. Width becomes the load of the downswing and helps golfers cheat a little in the transition and downswing- you almost have no option otherwise but to wait for the loading to occur.
