Trends come and go in golf instruction. We have had one plane swing- square to square- stack and tilt- the A swing- etc etc. Most if not all of those concepts have died a slow death based on wrong information. Many students tend to use too much body on the downswing. When they rip the hip or body too soon their arms slow down and the club never can catch up except by an intense hand throw which messes up their contact and club face direction
